Anchor Homes was founded by Coral Riley and Erica Hardison, two women whose personal journeys inspired them to create a place of hope and stability for others. Both have walked alongside family members who served as veterans, supported friends and loved ones facing housing insecurity, and personally experienced the challenges of starting over as single women after spouses struggled with alcohol and addiction. Their resilience, compassion, and faith have shaped Anchor Homes into more than just a housing nonprofit—it is a mission of restoration, rooted in lived experience and dedicated to helping others rebuild their lives with dignity and strength.
Anchor Homes envisions a community where every person has access to stable housing, supportive resources, and the opportunity to achieve lasting independence. We strive to be a model of compassion, accountability, and empowerment—breaking cycles of homelessness, strengthening families, honoring veterans, and creating pathways for recovery and growth.
